The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis – The Children’s Museum is opening its doors with free admissions to all children and families to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy. Eiteljorg Museum – The Eiteljorg will have free admission on January 20 from 10am-5pm. Monday will be the final day to see their popular holiday exhibit, Jingle Rails: The Great Western Adventure, so make sure to stop by before it’s gone! Find out more here.
Indiana Historical Society – Honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the Indiana Historical Society by participating in service activities, donating, playing games, and learn more about advocating for those in our community whose needs are not being met. Indiana State Museum – Check out the Indiana State Museum between 10am-5pm to see some of Dr. King’s most iconic speeches, create a “dream” mural, and reflect on how we can keep Dr. King’s dream alive for future generations. Admission is free, but they’re encouraging canned food donations for Gleaners Food Bank. Get more information here.
Indianapolis Zoo – Enjoy a special visit to the zoo with a special feeling of helping out our community. Admission is free from 9am-4pm with a donation of a nonperishable food item for Gleaners Food Bank. Bonus! Guests can enjoy a free dolphin presentation during their visit on Monday!
