Vice-President, Indy Arts Council (Indianapolis, IN) - Hybrid

Do you believe arts and culture is a vital economic driver and essential strategy to improve our quality of life for all? Are you seeking an opportunity to apply your passion for innovative and equitable arts programming to reimagine and expand Indy’s creative life as a flourishing cultural hub?

The Indy Arts Council is seeking a full-time Vice President (VP) to join our talented leadership team. Reporting to the President and CEO, the role will lead innovation, delivery, and growth of the Arts Council’s mission impact through strategic leadership and operational oversight of its programs and services engaging artists, organizations, and community partners. The role will require expertise in arts administration including strategic and annual planning; research, advocacy, and impact reporting; grants, fellowships, and other new models of engagement; artist, organization and community resources/services; gallery and performance venue management; public art; and budget development and management. All with a focus on advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, access, and belonging consistent with the Arts Council’s Equity Statement.
