Join Indy Chamber Members on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day with FREE Admission!

Join us in honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by visiting some of our city's beloved museums and learning about the work he did as a leader for equality.

Indianapolis Zoo – The Indianapolis Zoo will be open from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., weather permitting, for guests with a generous heart and sense of adventure. Monetary donations benefiting Gleaner's Food Bank and food pantry item donations benefiting the Exchange at the Indianapolis Urban League will be accepted. Parking and admission are free.

Indiana State Museum – Check out the Indiana State Museum between 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. to see some of Dr. King's most iconic speeches, create a "dream" mural, and reflect on how we can keep Dr. King's dream alive for future generations. Admission is free, but they're encouraging monetary donations for Gleaners Food Bank via Dip Jars.

Eiteljorg Museum – Enjoy free admission from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and the final day to see their popular holiday exhibit, Jingle Rails: The Great Western Adventure. The museum will be accepting cash donations to Gleaners Food Bank. Advance ticket reservation is encouraged.

The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis – Unfortunately, tickets for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day are sold out, and no additional tickets will be released. Reservations for the museum's next free day, Presidents Day on Feb. 21, will be available beginning at 9 a.m. on Feb. 11.

Indiana Historical Society – Honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the Indiana Historical Society by participating in service activities, learning from community members, exploring community storytelling with GANGGANG, and more! The museum's doors are open with free admission from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Monday.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the New Pippin Dental Office To Be Held November 13

Pippin Dental, a kids focused family dental practice, will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Family Fun Event on November 13 at 10 am to commemorate the grand opening of its East Indianapolis Office at 9972 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN. The Indy Chamber, State House Public Health Chair Cindy Kirchhofer and others will join the celebration.
