Holladay Properties donates land valued at $2.27 million to Damar

In a year-end transaction, Holladay Properties donated 20 acres of its Ameriplex industrial park to Damar Services. The land, which appraised for $2.27 million, is adjacent to Damar's 46-acre main campus and will be used for future growth.

Three acres are located near Damar's main entrance at the corner of Decatur Boulevard and Kentucky Avenue, and the additional acres are adjacent to Kentucky Avenue.

This is the second time Holladay Properties has gifted land to Damar. In 2009, the real estate company donated eight acres to the nonprofit organization that provides services to children and adults challenged by autism and intellectual, developmental and behavioral disabilities.

"Holladay Properties' ongoing generosity is helping to expand not just Damar's space but also our vision for impact," said Damar Services President and CEO Jim Dalton. "Their gifts allow us to meet the needs of a growing population and to offer services that otherwise might not be possible."
