About BEI Procurement Roundtable

The BEI Procurement Roundtable is facilitated through a partnership between the Indy Chamber, Mid-States Minority Supplier Development Council, Indy Black Chamber of Commerce and IU Kelley School of Business. The Roundtable assists companies in creating or strengthening a supplier diversity program that best meets its needs by focusing on a minimum of eight key best practices to drive business success metrics. Additionally, the Roundtable connects business owners with networks, support, and resources that may be unknown or underutilized through proactive identification, targeted engagement, and delivering more practical and relevant content. This initiative ensures that more businesses have the chance to compete and contribute to the region’s economic vitality.

Business Equity for Indy (BEI) exists to grow the Indy region’s economy by expanding access to opportunity for businesses, entrepreneurs, and talent. Our initiatives, which focus on People, Procurement, and Policy, are designed to address barriers to full participation in economic opportunities by all members of our community.

We support business growth by sharing data on disparities, highlighting challenges and opportunities, and convening forums and initiatives to address inclusive business growth strategies.
