Susanna Taft serves as the Deputy Director for Develop Indy, the economic development organization for the City of Indianapolis. In this role she works directly with companies and partners to drive inclusive growth in Marion County through business attraction, retention and expansion. In 2020, Susanna was responsible for the management of grant & loan programs that totaled $21M in small business assistance as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Before joining the Develop Indy team full-time, Susanna managed the marketing and communications for the Indy Chamber's Entrepreneur Services division as well as for Develop Indy.
