Ice Miller Welcomes Attorney Amanda Redick

Ice Miller LLP is pleased to welcome Amanda Redick to the Firm’s Real Estate Group. Amanda assists clients with a variety of real estate and finance transactions.

Before joining Ice Miller, Amanda worked in Purdue University’s Office of Legal Counsel as associate counsel for corporate and global partnerships, where she advised and supported the office on a variety of legal and regulatory issues, contractual issues, intellectual property issues and international initiatives. Additionally, she served as counsel to the Purdue Research Foundation in connection with the Back a Boiler and Pave the Way income share agreement programs, including program design, servicing, consumer finance matters, corporate entity formation and capital finance.

“Not only does Amanda have extensive experience in a wide variety of real estate transactions, but she also has an expansive knowledge of the corporate and financial implications of those transactions,” said Steve Humke, chief managing partner of Ice Miller. “We are excited for her to join the team.”

Previously, Amanda practiced corporate, real estate and finance law in a firm setting. She advised lenders regarding commercial real estate loan structure and documentation, drafting and negotiating commercial leases, loan defeasance transactions, mezzanine loans, construction loans, borrowing base value modifications and loan assumption transactions.

Amanda also has real estate development experience in multi-family and mixed-use development projects, medical office transactions, resolution of complex title issues, access and utility easement agreements and private sewer agreements.
