Charitable Women’s Giving Circle Shapes Philanthropic Perspectives of Women Leaders through Scholarship Program
Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis, a charitable women’s giving circle, announced the thirteen women who will join the 2024 grant process as part of its Impact 100 Leaders of the Future scholarship program. The program allows women early in their not-for-profit careers to enjoy the benefits and responsibilities of membership, while enriching the Impact 100 grants process with fresh perspectives and technical expertise.
2024 Impact 100 Leaders of the Future are:
From now until May, these future leaders will join five focus area committees (FACs) to evaluate proposed projects submitted by greater Indianapolis area nonprofits. Each FAC selects a finalist to be considered for the $100,000 Impact 100 Change Maker Grant. At the annual celebration on June 11, 2024, each finalist will deliver a seven-minute presentation to the Impact 100 membership. After the presentations, Impact 100 members, including these future leaders, will cast their live vote, and the 2024 Impact 100 Change Maker will be announced.
“We are excited to welcome this group of future leaders as members of Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis” said Freedom Smith, President of Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis. “We hope their involvement in our grant process will assist in educating these leaders about the critical needs in Indy, new ventures and innovative solutions, and show them the Power of Women Giving as One ®. We cannot wait to see the impact these young leaders will have throughout the process.”
