The Annex Group® Reports 2022 Growth with Multiple New Housing Projects and Industry Accolades

INDIANAPOLIS (February 16, 2023) – The Annex Group®, a leading impact housing developer that creates affordable, workforce and student housing communities, announces incredible growth in 2022 with more expected for 2023. The Annex Group has developed 3,748 units since its inception and has 1,916 units in its current development pipeline.

In 2022, The Annex Group broke ground on five new communities:

• The Annex of Bloomington, a new workforce housing community in Bloomington, Indiana
• The Annex of Pullman, a new student housing community in Pullman, Washington
• Union at Middle Creek, a new affordable housing community in Lincoln, Nebraska
• Union at Tryon, a new affordable housing community in Charlotte, North Carolina
• Union at Pacific Highway, a new affordable housing community in Corvallis, Oregon

Internal growth was substantial for The Annex Group as well, with more than two dozen new hires in 2022. More job openings are in the works for 2023.

The CIP includes impactful, thoughtful, service-centered resources meant to assist residents in achieving their personal goals and elevating their quality of life.

Other 2022 milestones include being named one of the “World’s Greatest” by Bloomberg TV and being featured on the television series that showcases exemplary people, places and companies in the country, ranking 15^th on Affordable Housing Finance’s Top 50 Developers List, and winning the Best of Cedar Rapids Award in the Apartment category for Union at Wiley.
