KGR is thrilled to start the New Year with two new attorneys: Wes Overturf and Anthony Carreri, and their paralegal Deidre Gastenveld.
Wes Overturf, a partner, practices in the areas of bankruptcy and creditors’ rights. He represents creditors, debtors, and other interest holders in Chapter 7, 11, 12 and 13 bankruptcy cases primarily in the Southern District and the Northern District of Indiana. Wes also represents clients in all phases of foreclosures, collections, restructurings, and insolvency as well as providing services to clients before various taxing authorities.
A skilled litigator and transactional attorney, Wes’ practice includes providing legal counsel to individuals, businesses, landlords, and financial institutions on transactional matters such as contracts, and transfer of corporate assets. With over a decade of experience, Wes assists with creditor collection violations, asset protection, planning, mergers, and acquisitions within the context of a 363 sale in the bankruptcy process.
Anthony Carreri, an associate, practices in the areas of creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, and civil litigation. He has represented clients in North Carolina, South Carolina, Michigan, and Indiana in matters involving foreclosure, eminent domain, contract disputes, bankruptcy, and unemployment benefit appeals. He counsels his clients through the complexities of financial distress and aides in finding solutions to a variety of commercial disputes. Anthony represents his clients in both state and federal litigation, and in out-of-court arrangements.
Deidre became a paralegal in 2017. She has a bachelor’s degree from Union University, a paralegal certificate from IUPUI, and is an Indiana Registered Paralegal. She is experienced with estate law, as well as civil and business litigation, but particularly enjoys working in the areas of bankruptcy and creditor’s rights.
