Indiana Union Construction Industry and the Indiana Careers in Construction Association Celebrate 2022 National Apprenticeship Week (Nov. 14-20)

National Apprenticeship Week is an opportunity for business and industry, educators, community-based organizations, students, and apprentices to share how apprenticeship connects skilled workers with good jobs and makes Indiana’s workforce more competitive.

Each year, the Indiana Union Construction Industry makes a private industry investment of more than $54 million dollars in apprenticeship training through jointly managed apprenticeship programs.  These apprenticeships are offered with zero tuition costs to students.

The Indiana Careers in Construction Association is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2016 to educate Indiana high school and college students, as well as adults, about educational and career opportunities in the Indiana Union Construction Industry. The ICCA's mission is to build a new generation of construction tradesmen and women seeking high demand careers with strong salary potential.  As an association of construction apprenticeship training programs, The ICCA is committed to attracting an elite and diverse workforce capable of building Indiana into the future.

The Indiana Careers in Construction Association’s Built To Succeed program is the point of entry into the Union Construction Industry.  Potential apprentices can research trades, learn more about admission requirements and utilize a common application that allows them to learn more about several trades at once.  This one point of entry program is unique to Indiana and streamlines the application process for Hoosiers.

Indiana boasts 14 certified apprenticeship training programs for the union construction industry. There are more than 60 apprenticeship training locations statewide.

Apprenticeships in the union construction industry are open to all!  To find out how you can become Built To Succeed in the Indiana Union Construction Industry please visit:  www.builttosucceed.org
