Well Done Marketing Names Former Leo Burnett CD as New Executive Creative Director

Now in its 17th year of operation, full-service agency Well Done Marketing has named its first new executive creative director since the retirement of founder Ken Honeywell at the end of 2021. Scott Smith is a 30-year veteran of the marketing and advertising industry with an extensive background in film and graphic design.

“I’m humbled and thrilled to step into the role of leading this esteemed agency’s creative department,” said Smith. “We have a strong, talented team of designers, producers, and copywriters who constantly create meaningful, impressive work for clients.”

After spending the bulk of his career in Chicago, Smith joins the Indianapolis agency during a significant period of expansion. Most recently, he served as a vice president/creative director for Leo Burnett Worldwide, a global advertising agency, where he led cross-functional advertising, social, digital, and experiential campaigns for clients such as Sony, Hallmark, and Allstate. Past work includes bare creative, Fulton Market Films, and Element79. Smith graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor of arts in graphic communication.

In addition, Jonathan Frazier brings his award-winning film production and design experience to Well Done as an associate creative director. He has spent most of his career in Nashville working with companies and nonprofits including Soundstripe, Kindful, To Write Love on Her Arms, and more. Additionally, Frazier has served as director and producer on freelance projects for Microsoft, Xbox, Sony Music, and PBS. Accolades earned include: 2021 AAF Nashville Copywriter of the Year, 2019 Nashville Film Festival Grand Jury Prize (TN First - Short Film), and 2018 Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival (Best Documentary).
