25 Years of Global Health – With Your Support

25 years ago, Timmy Global Health started with an idea to help provide healthcare globally and to train up the next generation of global health leaders. Timmy’s mission has been to show healthcare workers the true meaning of service and the mission of what healthcare is supposed to be.

Throughout the years, Timmy Global Health has provided care to 141,480 people in over 11 countries. We have trained up over 4,000 student volunteers on college campuses across the country and we have led 337 healthcare brigades into some of the most impoverished areas of the world – both locally and globally.

Have we made a difference? Yes, we have impacted and saved lives of those receiving the care as well as those who are volunteering and providing the care. With the involvement of over 2,000 medical professionals and nearly 100,000 student volunteer hours, Timmy lives out the true mission of healthcare.

You help to make our work possible and you provide a significant difference in the lives of those we reach. Eric Glendening is just one example of how Timmy has significantly impacted his outlook and his work:

“My work with our Timmy chapter is one of the most rewarding experiences of my professional career. It gives me the opportunity to engage motivated students who seek to serve and learn from our local community and the communities of Guangaje, Ecuador. We are greatly in debt to the staff of Timmy Global Health and Hombro a Hombro who make these experiences possible and the people of Guangaje who consistently welcome us into their communities.”

As we look to the next 25 years, we know that now more than ever Global Healthcare impacts all of us. Timmy Global Health focuses on developing programs with the greatest impact while maintaining a low overhead.
