KRISPY KREME® and Indianapolis Residents to Celebrate Grand Opening of New Shop Near Castleton Square Mall on March 1

INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 23, 2022) – Indianapolis-area residents and commuters will celebrate the grand opening of a new Krispy Kreme shop at 5940 E. 82nd Street, just across from Castleton Square Mall in the Castleton neighborhood, on Tuesday, March 1.

“Our amazing Castleton shop will treat residents and visitors alike to the world’s most delicious doughnuts,” said Joey Horne-Rodriguez, Krispy Kreme Castleton General Manager. “Castleton is the perfect neighborhood for our newest shop with its thriving restaurant scene and diverse population. We look forward to serving the community and treating everyone to the most awesome doughnut experience imaginable.”

The shop will feature Krispy Kreme’s iconic Hot Light, signaling fresh, hot doughnuts when switched on, as well as our classic menu of beloved doughnuts varieties offered all day, including the legendary Original Glazed® doughnut, alongside limited time offerings such as the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day collection. The shop, which employs more than 70 new team members and managers from the Indianapolis area, will be open seven days a week: Sunday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Throughout grand opening week, Krispy Kreme will randomly award 10 dozen lucky guests a Celebration Ticket worth a dozen free Original Glazed® doughnuts every month for a year.
