The Indy Chamber has promoted Emily Koschnick to Chief Membership Officer, expanding her leadership role as the organization continues to strengthen its membership strategy and deliver greater value, connections and resources to businesses across the Indianapolis region.
Koschnick will continue leading the Chamber’s membership growth, retention and engagement efforts while assuming responsibility for the Hispanic Business Council, Central Indiana Women’s Business Center and Black Enterprise Council. The expanded role brings several key areas of business engagement into closer alignment with the Chamber’s broader membership strategy and reflects its continued investment in building a stronger, more connected business community.
“Emily is a connector and a changemaker, and she has brought that same approach to strengthening how we engage and serve our members,” said Matt Mindrum, president and CEO of the Indy Chamber. “Our members are at the heart of the Indy Chamber, and Emily understands that delivering value means creating meaningful connections, listening to the needs of businesses and ensuring they can access the people, programs and resources that help them grow. Her expanded leadership will help us continue building a membership organization that meets businesses where they are and creates more opportunities for them to succeed.”
Koschnick joined the Indy Chamber in September 2025 as vice president of membership, charged with leading regional growth of the Chamber’s membership portfolio and partnerships with small and mid-sized businesses across Central Indiana.
She joined the Chamber with an extensive background in civic leadership and communications. Koschnick previously served as executive director of the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee, collaborating with public- and private-sector leaders to advance key city initiatives. Her prior roles include director of public relations at Porch Light Public Relations, deputy communications director for the City of Indianapolis and more than eight years in local broadcast news, including as an executive producer at FOX59. She is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College.
As Chief Membership Officer, Koschnick will build on that experience to further connect the Chamber’s membership strategy with its programs and business councils, creating stronger pathways for businesses to engage with the organization, build relationships and access resources that support their growth.

The promotion and expanded role are part of the Indy Chamber’s ongoing leadership planning and continued investment in its membership organization. The work also supports Accelerate Indy 2030, the Chamber’s regional economic development strategy and its focus on mobilizing the business community around shared priorities for the Indy region.
