Indy Chamber Names Martina Jackson as Senior Director of Public Relations and Communications
INDIANAPOLIS (August 20, 2025) – The Indy Chamber today announced the appointment of Martina Jackson as its new Senior Director of Public Relations and Communications, bringing more than a decade of experience in nonprofit marketing, social media strategy, and visual storytelling to the organization’s marketing and communications team.
Jackson, an Indianapolis native, is known for building loyal audiences, creating high-impact campaigns, and blending culture, creativity, and business strategy to drive measurable results. In her new role, she will lead the Chamber’s communications and media relations strategies, shaping how the organization shares its mission to accelerate economic growth, support local businesses, and strengthen the Indianapolis region.

Jackson’s career includes founding and leading Drea & Co., a marketing agency serving mission-driven organizations, as well as fractional leadership roles with the Black AIDS Institute and BU Wellness Network, where she grew digital engagement by triple-digit percentages. She is also the founder and CEO of Pixus Inc., creator of the award-winning CaptureNoire mobile app, recognized nationally for inclusive tech innovation.
Her work has earned numerous honors, including being named to Indiana University’s College of Arts and Sciences 20 Under 40, selection as an Indianapolis Arts Council Creative Fellow, and winning multiple pitch competitions and innovation grants.
Jackson is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Philosophy and is fluent in Japanese. She co-founded Create. Connect. Collab and currently serves as Marketing Chair for Friends of Belmont.
