Asaiah held a basketball for the very first time -- and it created an experience the family will forever cherish
During last year's Heroes Adventure at the iconic Hinkle House, Asaiah and his family rolled a basketball across the court. His face lit up with joy. And so did theirs.
For Asaiah, who faces daily challenges with therapies and medical appointments, this experience was more than just play—it was a moment of inclusion and celebration. A reminder that every child deserves the chance to laugh, play, and be a kid.
"Asaiah might not be able to do as much as other kids, but this allows him to be included and allows us to enjoy activities as a family," his mom shared. "The best part was making new memories together."
