Community First Bank of Indiana Grows its Team: Welcome Hall, Ulis, and Reed

Robb Blume, President and CEO of Community First Bank of Indiana (CFB), is pleased to welcome Brittany Hall, Mercedes Ulis, and John Reed to the team.

Brittany Hall has joined as Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager in a role that will support all 8 branches throughout Hamilton, Howard, and Marion Counties. Brittany is a dedicated advocate for women in business and an experienced banker with over 21 years in the retail banking industry specializing in consumer lending, sales management, and business development. She is deeply passionate about helping individuals and communities gain access to financial education that can lead to lasting economic stability and growth. “My commitment to this cause drives my efforts to provide personalized financial solutions and guidance, ensuring that clients not only meet their immediate needs but also build a solid foundation for their future,” said Brittany.

Mercedes Ulis has joined as Vice President, Branch Manager/Business Development Officer of the Meridian North Banking Center located at 93rd & Meridian in Indianapolis. She brings nearly a decade of experience in branch management and bank leadership. Known for her operational excellence, she combines accuracy and reliability with a passion for helping clients. Financial literacy is also especially dear to her heart. “Growing up in Elkhart, IN, a small town with limited financial education resources and one of the highest unemployment rates in the state, I saw firsthand the impact of financial literacy on community well-being. I’m focused on fostering growth and helping my community members achieve their financial goals,” said Mercedes.

“We’re thrilled to have Brittany and Mercedes join the team,” shared Calee Ozminkowski, Branch Administrator. “As CFB continues to grow and open new local branches, our team has expanded as well. Continued growth means continued opportunities for our employees and excellent experiences for our customers.”

To support this continued growth, the bank’s Credit department has also expanded with the hire of John Reed as Vice President, Senior Credit Officer. John is based out of the bank’s newest office in Fishers. He brings an inspiring 33 years of commercial underwriting and credit administration experience, with a deep understanding of risk management, credit analysis, and financial regulations. John, along with his team, is dedicated to helping small business owners achieve their goals and help their communities thrive.
