Recognizing Economic Development Excellence in the Heart of Indiana

Ind. (Mar. 01, 2024)  — Site Selection Magazine, a premier publication in corporate real estate and economic development, has recognized the Indianapolis region in its 2024 Governor’s Cup Awards.

This distinguished honor, presented annually by the esteemed Atlanta-based magazine, underscores the city’s outstanding performance in these spheres.

Site Selection magazine’s annual rankings saw Indiana maintain a Top 10 ranking nationally for qualifying projects per capita. Additionally, Indianapolis secured the third position in projects per capita for metropolitan areas with populations over 1 million, marking a significant improvement from 13th place last year. This positions Indianapolis ahead of cities like Chicago, Cincinnati, Columbus, and Louisville. The Indianapolis Metro Area also holds the 9th position in the nation for total projects.
