FORUM Employees Raised Over $77,000 for Charities in 2023

FORUM Credit Union supports an employee nominated charity each year. In 2023, FORUM’s Charity of Choice was the Humane Society (supporting local Humane Societies including Johnson County, Boone County, Hamilton County, Indy Humane, and Hendricks). The Humane Society aims to improve animal welfare, provide affordable pet ownership, and ensure the well-being, health, and safety of all animals under their care. In addition, FORUM supported The Dayspring Center, an organization that provides emergency shelter, clothing, and three nourishing meals a day for homeless families with children in central Indiana.

Throughout 2023, FORUM employees participated in multiple fundraising efforts to support the Humane Society including raffles, pinewood derby, a cornhole tournament, breakfast deliveries, and more. Employees also raised money for Dayspring through “Designer Bag Bingo.” FORUM employees raised over $77,000, and used 686 hours of paid volunteer time off supporting various charities throughout the community.

After taking an all-employee vote in December, FORUM announced its 2024 Charities of Choice are Dayspring Center and the PourHouse. The PourHouse assists individuals experiencing homelessness in overcoming barriers to housing, treatment, and healthcare.

FORUM employees are excited to continue serving the local community through these partnerships in 2024.
