Franklin College #GRIZTuesday Most Successful Ever

Donors once again demonstrated overwhelming support for Franklin College’s #GRIZTuesday on Tuesday, Nov. 28. The college exceeded its 24-hour fundraising goal, raising $180,871 and surpassing the target of $150,000 by an impressive 21 percent. Proceeds from the day-of-giving will support the college’s athletic programs.

Vice President for Institutional Advancement Dana Cummings said, “We extend our deepest appreciation to all our donors and sponsors who wholeheartedly backed us on GRIZTuesday. The overwhelming support from our alumni, friends, faculty, staff, students, parents, sponsors and community members was nothing short of remarkable once again this year.”

The college utilized various communication platforms including social media and other college-owned communication channels to market the day-of-giving.

Vice President Andrew A. Hendricks emphasized the importance of #GRIZTuesday in providing a memorable college experience for student-athletes. “While academics are central to the experience at Franklin, athletics greatly enhance it, and our donors consistently show incredible support. Thanks to their generosity, our student-athletes will benefit from a well-rounded college experience, including unique leadership opportunities and valuable teamwork experiences.”

Miller Transportation was the primary sponsor for the day, with Dunn & Associates lending their support as an additional lead sponsor.
