Messer Donates More Than $55,000 to Two Local Organizations

Earlier this summer, Messer supported two Indianapolis nonprofits through its annual employee giving campaign and through the company’s grant program. The donations, totaling more than $55,000, are part of Messer’s commitment to building better lives for our customers, communities and each other.

The employee giving campaign benefitted Indiana Sports Corp, whose mission is to drive economic vitality and create opportunities for youth through world-class sporting events. Messer raised more than $30,000 and participated in the 2023 Corporate Challenge at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, winning first place as the Real Estate/Land Development Industry Champion.

The Messer Construction Co. Foundation grant was awarded to Shepherd Community Center, which works to defeat generational poverty through a variety of services, including educational support, counseling and a food pantry. The $25,000 grant is going toward a mobile STEM lab as part of the community center’s efforts to reach more middle schoolers.

Looking back over the past year, Messer has supported nearly 40 nonprofit organizations in Central Indiana—from Hard Hats With Heart and REV Indy to CANstruction, Riley Children’s Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, A Kid Again and more.

In 2022, Messer and its employees donated $2.7M to nonprofit organizations across our regional footprint in the Midwest and Southeast. More information on community giving is available here: https://www.messer.com/about-messer/community-investment/
