Bosma Enterprises Names SVP of Operations

Bosma Enterprises announced the promotion of Lise Pace to senior vice president of operations. Pace was formerly vice president of external affairs.

“From the moment Lise walked through our doors, we knew she was going to play an integral role in Bosma’s future,” said Bosma Enterprises president and CEO, Jeffrey Mittman. “Lise has grown our community engagement presence exponentially in her time as vice president of external affairs. She has been a part of all of our critical decisions and planning for the future. Asking her to expand her responsibilities was a natural next step.”

Pace began volunteering at Bosma’s Center for Visionary Solutions in 2008. After four months of volunteering, she was offered a one-year assignment with AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America), where she focused on expanding volunteer opportunities for people with disabilities. At the end of her term, Pace was hired by Bosma Enterprises to lead all of the organization’s volunteer program.

Pace has been with Bosma for 14 years, and during that time she has:

  • Led advocacy efforts resulting in the passage of federal and state legislation and obtained increased funding to improved training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
  • Spearheaded efforts to significantly increase brand awareness over the past three years.
  • Led the restructuring of Bosma’s brand.
  • Implemented success metrics, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.

“Bosma has truly changed my life,” said Pace. “When I first lost my vision, I thought I wouldn’t be able to function independently or have a career. I never could have predicted the impact Bosma has had on my life and career. In this new role, I am excited to further influence Bosma’s vision for the future, empower others, and amplify the good work we do here every day.”

Pace currently serves on the IndyGo board of directors, the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee board of directors and the Columbia Club’s Leadership and Civic Engagement Committee. She also serves on both the marketing and the public policy committees for the National Association for the Employment for People Who Are Blind, is a member of the American Council of the Blind and is a National Industries for the Blind Advocate for Leadership and Employment.

Bosma Enterprises is Indiana’s largest statewide provider of employment and training programs for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
