Borshoff wins two regional Emmy Awards
With four Emmys in the past three years, Borshoff wins in “Commercial” and “Musical Composition/ Arrangement” categories in 2023
INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis-based and women-owned advertising and PR agency, Borshoff, won two Emmy Awards at last week’s regional ceremony in Cleveland, at the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Central Great Lakes Chapter. Both awards, in the categories of Commercial and Musician Composition/Arrangement, were for work produced for the Indianapolis Zoo.
To be considered for an Emmy, an organization submits the work product, which is graded by panels of peers (other NATAS members) across the U.S. After grading all submissions, the panels decide who is nominated and ultimately wins.
“The Indianapolis Zoo loves the challenge of generating public interest and excitement for our institution, especially when it comes to our special events and holiday celebrations. We appreciate our partnership with Borshoff, who worked closely with our marketing and events teams to capture all of the family-friendly fun of ZooBoo when creating this campaign. The result was a creative campaign that showcases what makes a visit to the zoo during Halloween special, in a unique and entertaining way, exceeding our expectations and fall attendance numbers,” said Karl Traeger, Director of Marketing for the Indianapolis Zoo.
“It’s a huge recognition and validation that the way we tell stories is the best in our multi-state region, and we also have the technical abilities and expertise to light, shoot, edit, compose, and bring all the elements together beautifully. However, it’s not just pretty pictures, it’s creative and thoughtful detail from every level,” said Bennett Conrad, Senior Producer with Borshoff. “While it’s definitely fun to win an Emmy, especially with the top-tier competition in our categories, the real reason we submit the work is to celebrate quality storytelling with our entire agency, crew, clients and community when we are recognized.”
