Indiana Roof Ballroom Leader Wins ROSE Award

In front of a sold-out crowd at the 32nd Annual ROSE Awards on Thursday, May 11th, hosted by Visit Indy at The Indiana Roof Ballroom, 93 of the hardest-working frontline hospitality and tourism workers in Indianapolis were honored for their role in going above and beyond to deliver “Hoosier Hospitality”.

Of those honored, nine received a ROSE Award, standing for Recognition Of Service Excellence. One of those prestigious awards was given to lifelong Indianapolis resident and events industry leader Antonia Zunarelli, president and co-owner of Crystal Signature Events and manager of The Indiana Roof Ballroom. 

If you’ve ever enjoyed a celebration at The Indiana Roof Ballroom, Antonia was there, coordinating every detail and ensuring a seamless event. 

Antonia began working in the events industry nearly 40 years ago and assumed operations of the Indiana Roof Ballroom in 2002, frequently hosting guests ranging from presidents to pop stars, as well as some of the city’s most prominent celebrations. She’s been behind the scenes of thousands of lavish weddings, VIP galas, nonprofit fundraisers, and the ROSE Awards itself. 

Despite her unassuming demeanor and deflection of praise, Antonia is a highly respected leader by colleagues and peers, never missing a detail or afraid to throw on a hairnet to ensure her guests have a night to remember.
