BGBC CPAs & Advisors Appoints Adam Krupp as New Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel

BGBC CPAs and Advisors announced that former Indiana revenue commissioner Adam Krupp has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel. An experienced business leader, Krupp will support the continued growth of the firm by providing elevated operational and strategic support.
Throughout Krupp’s rich career path, he has had measurable impacts on the companies he has served, most recently as a Senior Director of Public Sector Services with Resultant, where he oversaw public sector consulting operations focused on Indiana government agencies. Additionally, Krupp served as the Commissioner of Indiana’s Department of Revenue from 2017-2020, after transforming Indiana’s Bureau of Motor Vehicles during Governor Mike Pence’s administration. During his time with the Department of Revenue, Krupp led the agency through a multi-year reform initiative that culminated in the agency being recognized by the IndyStar as a top a Top Workplace from 2019-2021.
While at DOR, Krupp placed a renewed emphasis on customer service, compliance, ethics and internal affairs. During his tenure, DOR successfully implemented a new integrated tax system after securing $100M in funding from Indiana's General Assembly. The agency’s transformation, both culturally and operationally, started with an overhaul of its leadership team, mission, core values, and creation of external advisory councils to better engage with industry partners and Hoosier constituents.
“We are pleased to bring an additional level of operational support to the firm,” says Managing Partner Kyle Simmerman. “Not only does Adam possess a technical background and understanding of our nature of business, but he has a culture driven focus which aligns with our people first core value.”
Krupp’s high level of operational support will continue to enhance the award winning culture at BGBC. This will allow the firm to continue to provide exceptional client service by attracting the top talent in the public accounting field.
Krupp holds a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and JD from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
