Site Selectors Guild Announces Indianapolis as 2025 Fall Forum Host

Established in 2015, the Site Selectors Guild conference is one of the world's most prestigious gatherings of site selectors and economic development professionals.

Ind. (March 29, 2023) — The Site Selectors Guild 2025 Fall Forum will take place in Indianapolis from October 1-3, 2025, and will be hosted by the Indy Chamber. Guild members and economic developers from around the world are expected to attend the forum to discuss the Site Selectors Guild's fundamental mission – advancing corporate location strategy by raising awareness of the value location strategy and business site selection services create for corporations and communities.

The three-day event will include knowledge sharing, interactive exchange of ideas, and networking while discussing current trends in business location strategy and corporate investment attraction.

“As the only association of the world’s foremost professional site selection consultants, the Site Selectors Guild takes tremendous pride in its marquee events – from developing the timeliest original content and new programming formats to selecting host locations that meet the high expectations attendees have come to expect from our Fall Forum,” said Gregg Wassmansdorf, Site Selectors Guild board chair and senior managing director of global consulting at Newmark. “The Guild has found an outstanding partner in the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, and we look forward to Indianapolis shining at the 2025 Fall Forum.”

The selection process for the 2025 Fall Forum host location was competitive, with more than a dozen qualified proposals submitted to the Guild. Applicants were required to demonstrate reliable and widespread air connectivity to major markets across North America, availability of large and high-quality hotels that can accommodate guest and meeting space needs, availability of affordable hotels within close proximity for attendees operating under strict travel budgets, and ability to meet the financial obligation of host sponsor fee. Proposals were reviewed by the Guild's seven-person board of directors.

"Time and time again, our region has showcased our ability to host world-class events that create lasting impact for the business and residential community," said Sarah Iglehart, Senior Vice President of Regional Economic Development, at Indy Partnership. "The site selector community's awareness of all that our region has to offer is critical to our success in attracting new business. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to highlight our region's unique assets and the collaboration that exists amongst all of our partners in this work."

Economic development professionals worldwide know that when a member of the Site Selectors Guild brings a project before them for consideration, it is a high-quality company and project opportunity. Hosting the annual forum brings greater economic opportunity to the region and state.
