FORUM Credit Union announces organizational promotions to its commercial team as well as two retirements.
Jennifer Buswell has been promoted to Assistant Vice President – Commercial Operations. Jennifer began her career at FORUM in 2019 as Commercial Operations Specialist. She was promoted to Commercial Operations Manager in 2021. In her role as AVP-Commercial Operations she will be responsible for leading the operational and strategic direction of the commercial group operations team.
Ryan Sunderman has been promoted to Commercial Loan Administration Manager. Ryan began his career at FORUM in February 2017 as a Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist and joined the Commercial Group in December 2017 as Commercial Operations Specialist. He was promoted to Commercial Operations Senior Specialist in 2021. In his role as Commercial Loan Administration Manager, Ryan will be responsible for all aspects of the business loan portfolio including loan documentation, administration, and ongoing monitoring.
FORUM also celebrates the retirement of Pam Barry, Assistant Vice President Commercial Group Operations. Pam’s career at FORUM began in 2006 and during that time she was responsible for leading the commercial operations team and participating in the strategic decision making for the Credit Union as a member of the Officer Team. She has led a cross-functional team responsible for day-to-day transaction processing, branch support, interdepartmental support, loan portfolio monitoring and administration, vendor management and support, and core system management. “We are very fortunate to have a depth of talent on our Commercial Operations team, and we owe that good fortune to Pam and her tremendous leadership over the years. We all wish Pam and her husband Tom every happiness in their retirement,” said Jim Carr, Senior VP Commercial and Investment Services.
Patty Danford, Mortgage Closer, is also retiring after 21 years with the credit union. Patty has served the mortgage department throughout her entire career at FORUM, first starting as a receptionist during the refinance boom. Patty has trained new closers, tested various mortgage system upgrades, assisted post-closings, and more. “She has seen so many changes to the mortgage business and at the Credit Union during these past two decades, and through it all she has significantly and consistently contributed to the growth and success of our mortgage operation. We appreciate her and wish her the best in this new chapter of her life,” said Doug True, CEO of FORUM Credit Union.
A paver dedication will be held at FORUM headquarters on October 31st for Patty and a private celebration has taken place for Pam.
