The Indianapolis Propylaeum presents the Marilyn K. Glick Women's Enrichment Series, a multi-part celebration of women in central Indiana. Each event begins at 5:00 for conversation, drinks, and hors d'oeuvres, with the program following at 6:00. VIP tickets include a Meet and Greet reception with the speaker, reserved seating during the presentations, and an open bar.

Thursday, October 27, 2022 - Maureen Weber, CEO/President of Early Learning Indiana
- Maureen Weber, President and CEO of Early Learning Indiana will kick-off the series and discuss why early education matters and the big issues preventing children from accessing these life-altering services. Early Learning Indiana is Indiana’s oldest and most comprehensive provider of early learning services. ELI addresses systemic barriers to early education statewide and operates a network of ten early learning centers in Indianapolis and West Lafayette. Prior to joining Early Learning Indiana in March 2018, Weber served as senior vice president and chief strategy officer at Project Lead The Way, a nonprofit that provides transformative STEM education experiences to K-12 students and teachers across the country.
Thursday, February 23, 2023 - Presidential Panel
- The second installment of the series will feature a panel of three university presidents who will explore the importance of female leadership in higher education and Indiana's emergence as a national model in this sphere. Deborah J. Curtis began her tenure as the 12th president of Indiana State University on January 3, 2018. She is the first female and only the second graduate of ISU to serve as president. Sue Ellspermann has more than 30 years experience in higher education, economic and workforce development, and public service. In January 2018, under Ellspermann's leadership, Ivy Tech launched its new five-year Strategic Plan, "Our Communities. Your College. Pathways for Student Success and a Stronger Indiana." Lori S. White was appointed the 21st president of DePauw University on March 4, 2020 and began her term on July 1, 2020. She is the first woman and first person of color to serve as DePauw's president. The panel will be moderated by Diane Willis. Diane Willis is a six-time regional Emmy award-winning anchor and reporter with 20 years' experience in television news in Indianapolis, Boston and St. Louis.

- To close out the series, Angela B. Freeman will discuss her journey as a lifelong learner in many aspects of her life. Angela is a Partner and Intellectual Property (IP)/Patent Attorney in the Indianapolis office of the law firm of Barnes & Thornburg LLP. Ms. Freeman is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Department and Life Sciences Practice Group. With a background of over 15 years as a “bench” biologist prior to her legal career, Ms. Freeman spent the majority of her scientific career as a genetic researcher and clinical scientist at Eli Lilly & Company (Lilly) with previous research experience at a Louisville, Kentucky area birth defects center. In 2021, Ms. Freeman was also named as the host of a new monthly podcast by the IBJ, called The Freedom Forum with Angela B. Freeman. This podcast explores the intersection of business, race, and gender in the Hoosier state by interviewing influential leaders and executives making real change and impact in the diversity, equity, and inclusion space.
