DB Services supports Wheeler Mission with Surveys for Success program

DB Services has chosen to support Wheeler Mission in quarter 4 of 2022 with our Surveys for Success program. Wheeler Mission provides much-needed services to people suffering due to addiction, homelessness, and poverty in Central and South Central Indiana. The Surveys for Success program is our way of saying thank you for our customers' valuable feedback by paying it forward to those in need.

Rather than attempting to "cure" homelessness and addiction, Wheeler Mission instead addresses the deeper issues that cause people to fall into these hard times and aims to break the cycle. They offer residential programs, job placement and job search assistance, food, clothing, counseling services, and much more. As of 2018, Wheeler Mission had helped 10,258 people with 366,393 meals served, 253,717 nights of safe shelter, and 304 housed with their independent housing program.

There are many ways that you can support Wheeler Mission's goals. They have plenty of volunteer opportunities, donation lists and drop-off locations, and multiple fundraising options. The Drumstick Dash fundraiser has been going for 20 years strong and is a great way for adults and kids alike to have fun while supporting Wheeler Mission's amazing work!

Each customer survey we receive is an additional donation towards Wheeler Mission. Your feedback for DB Services will not only help our team, but also support Wheeler Mission in the process! Simply fill out our surveys with your feedback, and together we can make a positive impact.

News Alert from Lanteigne Tailored Planning: SECURE 2.0 Adds New Early Withdrawal Exceptions

The SECURE 2.0 Act, passed as part of an omnibus spending bill in December 2022, added new exceptions to the 10% federal income tax penalty for early withdrawals from tax-advantaged retirement accounts. The Act also expanded an existing exception that applies specifically to employer plans. These exceptions are often called 72(t) exceptions, because they are listed in Section 72(t) of the Internal Revenue Code.
