Patriot Welcomes Ed Joniskan, LPG as Indiana Environmental Group Manager

Mr. Joniskan has experience in the private sector and with Indiana’s Department of Environmental Management (IDEM). At IDEM, Mr. Joniskan co-wrote significant parts of the original Risk Integrated System of Closures Guidance Manual. This experience, along with his other responsibilities during his eleven years with the agency, have given him the knowledge and skills to be an influential advocate for his clients with regulatory agencies. He has a background in design and implementation of soil and groundwater investigations and remediation and extensive regulatory experience. Mr. Joniskan has managed, performed, and overseen field activities on numerous projects involving, site investigation, soil and groundwater remediation, and UST management. In addition, he has provided mentoring support to project teams with regards to overall technical direction for individual projects for various major developers and multi-national petroleum and transportation clients. He has provided solutions-based management of environmental issues related to strategic redevelopment of contaminated land through the preparation and review of remedial action plans; environmental management plans; and assessments of hydrogeology, soil, and rock contaminants, and human health and environmental risks.
