Oktoberfest has quickly become a staple event here in Indianapolis over the past few years, as it offers Hoosiers a truly unique experience where eating, drinking and enjoying live entertainment on the Circle is encouraged for all. Best of all, this citywide celebration is free and open to the public.
The celebration takes place on the north half of Monument Circle, as the circle transforms into a lively and festive authentic Oktoberfest. Like any proper Oktoberfest, the event features street food, entertainment, and plenty of beer to go around.
Oktoberfest prides itself on being open to the public with no admission charge, encouraging all interested community members to partake in the festivities.
Menu items will include cheeseburger on a beer bun, bratwurst, jumbo franks, hot soft pretzels and more. The biergarten features domestic, imported and local craft beers as well as wine.
