Downtown Indy, Inc. Launches Search for Next President and CEO

Applications accepted through July 18, 2022 

INDIANAPOLIS- Downtown Indy, Inc. (DII) is now accepting applications for the role of president and CEO. The announcement comes following the departure of Sherry Seiwert, who announced her resignation in late April after ten years of service. "This search for Downtown Indy, Inc.'s next leader comes at a transformational moment for the organization and our community," said DII board chair Bill Browne. "We are seeing unprecedented investment and development of Downtown, thousands of new residents are choosing Downtown as their home, and the excitement around our centers and districts is electric. We look forward to finding a leader who can capitalize on this momentum and take this organization to new heights."

The Indianapolis-based search is chaired by DII board member Krista Skidmore (Flashpoint Leadership). Additionally, members of the search committee include DII board chair Bill Browne (RATIO Architects), board member Adairius Gardner (IU Health), board member Perry Griffin (Denison Parking), Adrienne Sims (OneAmerica), Keira Amstutz (Indiana Humanities) and DII marketing board chair Brittany Smith (Yelp).
