Coalition for Construction Safety Recognizes Messer Employees; Ball State Project Wins Award

Two Messer leaders were recognized at this year’s Coalition for Construction Safety awards banquet in Indianapolis. Carpenter Keith VanMeter received an Outstanding Craftsperson Award for his dedication to safety, and Senior Vice President Steve Bestard received the Board of Directors Award for his significant contributions as a six-year member of the board and four-year member of the executive committee.

Additionally, Ball State University’s Scheumann Family Indoor Practice Facility won an Outstanding Project Safety Award. Congratulations to the entire project team on safely delivering this 85,500-square-foot pre-engineered metal building and turf football field. There were zero incidents or injuries on the project, and 69 comprehensive inspections were performed over the course of 12 months.
