MORE Magazine launches Issue IV: Sustaining with Indianapolis Neighbors

Issue IV: Sustaining was curated to take back the word sustain and all that it applies to. The word itself has become very green-centric, and while its impact on the environment is still touched on, there are so many things sustaining practices can be. The issue will highlight ways to sustain one’s sense of self after traumatic events as well as maintaining one’s sense of self through artistry. It delves into the accessibility to sustainable products and ways to bring products to the market without excluding people of color in business. This issue was curated with the same intent as every issue: to educate, inspire, and call people to action.

The Nonprofit Neighborhood features nonprofits with missions related to the theme of the issue. In Issue IV, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana shares the benefit of sustained mentoring relationships. Indy Red is creating a sustained space for women by creating opportunities and removing barriers for women, transgender, non-binary, genderqueer, and gender fluid athletes to showcase their highest level talent while also promoting gender, racial, and economic equity within the sport of ultimate frisbee. Additionally, The Milk Bank sheds light on the cycle of milk and how they're creating a more sustained cycle for breast milk to be utilized.

Order your copy of Issue IV: Sustaining, and attend the Pre-Launch Happy Hour this week.
