Bosma Visionary Opportunities Foundation hires new executive director

Today, Bosma Visionary Opportunities Foundation announced the hire of its new executive director, Brandon Wells. Wells previously served as the executive director of the Putman County Community Foundation since 2019.

“We are excited to have Brandon joining our team,” said Bosma President and CEO Jeffrey Mittman. “Brandon’s experience in finance, communications, fundraising and grants will bring tremendous value to the Foundation, and advance our mission of creating opportunities for people who are blind or visually impaired”

“I am excited to bring my skills and passion to the Bosma Visionary Opportunities Foundation,” said Wells. “I have been called to a life of service, and I am honored to take this step in supporting Hoosiers who are blind and visually impaired.”

During his tenure with the Putman County Community Foundation, Wells grew the organization’s assets to an all-time high managing more than $42 million in assets over 300 separate endowed and non-endowed funds. He also led the foundation’s community response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which included the delivery of more than $168,000 in emergency response grants. Prior to working for the Putnam County Community Foundation, Wells served as the Director of Volunteer Engagement for the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity and was the Operations Manager/Associate Head of Schools for Hoosier Academy Schools.
