Well Done Marketing Promotes Lisa Sirkin Vielee to President

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 11, 2019) — Effective April 1, Indianapolis-based Well Done Marketing has promoted Lisa Sirkin Vielee to president. The decision comes as part of a comprehensive succession plan that began when Ken Honeywell, who founded the agency in 2005 with his now wife Becky, and Sirkin Vielee merged companies in 2015 to become a full-service marketing agency.

“I’ve seen many agencies shut their doors because the founder didn’t know when or how to step down. It was important to me to find the right leader to guide Well Done after I retire,” said Honeywell. “I’ve admired Lisa for a long time for her talent and thoughtfulness as well as her business success, and am confident she is the right person to take the agency forward.”

An online Harris Poll survey published in 2017 found that three of five small businesses do not have a transition plan. According to the survey, 47% of these business owners “simply believe it is not necessary.”

“It is a humbling task to follow in Ken’s footsteps,” Sirkin Vielee said. “Not only has he built a respected agency, his commitment to doing bold, honest work that makes our community a better place has guided our team for nearly 15 years. I am honored to carry on this work, both in Indianapolis and as we grow our book of business throughout the state of Indiana.”

As president, Sirkin Vielee will oversee business planning, strategic development, and staff operations. Honeywell will transition to full-time creative director, allowing him to focus on what he loves most—being a creative resource to clients and the team.

Sirkin Vielee joined Well Done Marketing in 2015 after the merger between Well Done and her public relations company, Gracie Communications. The agency now offers a full range of advertising, public relations, content marketing, digital strategy, video production, and web development services serving clients in healthcare, education, nonprofit, professional services, technology, and other industries.

Since it was founded, Well Done has grown from two to 26 people and has capitalized billings of close to $20 million. Its current client roster includes Hendricks Regional Health; Wabash Valley Power Association; Indiana Landmarks; Hancock Health; Lumina Foundation; The Julian Center; Katz, Sapper & Miller; and Duke Realty.

“The Julian Center, Indiana’s largest and most comprehensive provider of services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, has relied heavily on our partners at Well Done Marketing to ensure that both our public messaging and internal communications are best in class,” said Catherine O’ Connor, president and CEO of The Julian Center. “Lisa’s promotion is just one more example of the outstanding business model Lisa and Ken have created. They continuously focus on the needs of their clients and the health of the business, and we couldn’t be more excited to continue our relationship with Lisa at the helm.”
