After extensive renovations, the family-owned and operated grocery provides a unique downtown shopping experience

INDIANAPOLIS (April 9, 2019) — Needler’s Fresh Market, located at 320 N. New Jersey Street, will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, April 11 at 11:00 a.m. to celebrate its newly renovated store and the grand opening of Lemon’s Bakery Café. Indy Chamber Membership Relations Manager Josh Mote will conduct the ribbon cutting.

The grocery, purchased from Marsh Supermarkets in 2017, was rebranded as Needler’s Fresh Market that same year; however, the store did not provide the family-owned and operated business’s unique experience and mission to delight customers.

In 2018, Needler’s began plans to renovate the former Marsh store to provide more value to the neighborhood and a better shopping experience to residents, workers, and visitors to the city.

The new renovations include the grand opening of Lemon’s Bakery Café featuring snacks, prepared breakfast and lunch items, Hubbard & Cravens coffee, Rosie’s Bakery items, and easy access to Mass Avenue. In addition, shoppers will be able to enjoy a new pharmacy, wine and spirits, Circle City Kombucha, a candy wall, soup bar, hot foods bar, juice bar, and a better selection of specialty and organic foods as well as locally sourced products.
