Art at The Market & Legacy Makers: Indianapolis Jazz

#ArtAtTheMarket is back Friday, April 5th with local art, live music, food & drinks, and the second Legacy Makers discussion!

Legacy Makers is a series of conversations hosted at the Indianapolis City Market focusing on artists in the Indianapolis community who have, who do, and who will make an impact on the Circle City.

In this second installment of Legacy Makers the conversation will be surrounding the impact of Indianapolis Jazz.

Legacy Makers conversation will be held on the east side of our second floor from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Panelists: Guitarist Steve Weakley, George Benn of Merging Traffic and Indy Parks, Electric Violinist Cathy Morris, saxophonist and band leader Jared Thompson
Moderated by: Vickie Daniel

Local artists will have their work on display and for purchase 6 pm to 8:30 pm.

Live music for April's #ArtAtTheMarket will be performed by the Premium Blend Duo featuring saxophonist Jared Thompson and guitarist Ryan Taylor.

This event is family friendly, free, and open to the public.

Tomlinson Tap Room is a 21+ space only, so please have your ID ready. Beers can be purchased and enjoyed anywhere on the Market Grounds, ask for a to-go cup and you can venture outside to play bocce ball too!

#ArtAtTheMarket & Legacy Makers is made possible thanks to our close partnership with Big Car Collaborative and the support of Southwest Airlines and Project for Public Spaces through the Heart of the Community Program. A special thanks to #JAMindy.
