VOX Global – a strategic communications and public affairs firm – continues to grow its Indianapolis team by adding Joel Cooper as a digital communication specialist and promoting Luis Sorto to account executive.
Cooper joins the team as an account executive with the digital practice group. He creates and manages digital advertising campaigns using detailed data insights, precise audience targeting and engaging content.
“Joel has a deep understanding of advertising technologies, design best-practices and the latest digital innovations,” said VOX Global Managing Director Mike Marker. “He’s passionate about telling client stories in new and exciting ways.”
Before joining VOX, Cooper worked as a content developer for Streetsense in Washington, D.C. He first joined VOX in D.C. before joining the Indianapolis office. He graduated from Cornell University where he received a degree in philosophy with minors in business and history.
Luis Sorto, now an account executive, initially joined the team last summer as the Alfred E. Fleishman Diversity Fellow. Sorto supports the firm’s education/nonprofit and diversity & inclusion practice groups.
“Luis brings tremendous value to clients, particularly those who are active in workforce development, higher education and diversity & inclusion initiatives,” said Marker. “He has also been instrumental in helping organizations understand what motivates Generation Z.”
Sorto is a member of the Noblesville Diversity Coalition whose mission is to create a culture that understands, accepts, celebrates and respects our diversity. He earned his B.S. in foreign service from Georgetown University where he majored in international politics and minored in Arabic.
