Marilee Springer Serves as Ice Miller’s Strategic Planning Committee Chair

Marilee Springer begins a four-year term as chair of Ice Miller’s strategic planning committee on January 1, 2019.

Marilee Springer concentrates her practice on representing tax-exempt organizations, donors and governmental entities and affiliates. In this capacity, Marilee focuses on corporate structuring, governance and tax issues. With experience in the public and tax exempt sectors, Marilee works with clients to deploy public advocacy strategies that involve 501(c)(3), 501(c)(6) and PAC activities. The intersection of these structures allows her clients to maximize their impact in public policy, advocacy and political activity.

Marilee’s practice frequently sits at the intersection of her for-profit and philanthropic clients, where she advises clients on corporate social responsibility programs, social impact investments and sophisticated grants and mission-related investments.

The chair of the strategic planning committee works with the chief managing partner and managing partners to lead the Firm’s strategic business objectives. Marilee joins a diverse management team including Steve Humke, who was re-elected for a second term as chief managing partner; new managing partners Michael Jordan and Kristine Bouaichi and returning managing partner Judy Okenfuss.
