KERAMIDA is pleased to announce that Jeff Rechtin, CHMM, has rejoined the company as a Senior Project Manager in the Land Services Division. He will be handling the management of asbestos, lead, and mold projects, as well as mentoring KERAMIDA’s junior staff.
Mr. Rechtin has over 20 years of experience in the environmental, health and safety consulting field. He has developed and taught safety training programs to broaden clients’ knowledge on the recognition, avoidance, and prevention of safety and health hazards in their facilities as well as to maintain their safety certifications. In addition to safety consulting Mr. Rechtin has performed and managed compliance audits for commercial and industrial clients. He has developed and managed industrial hygiene sampling plans for volatile organic compounds, dust, oil mists, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide.
Mr. Rechtin also has performed numerous Phase I and Phase II Environmental Assessments that included lead and asbestos surveys, asbestos abatement and mold sampling. His asbestos project specialties include work plan development, project and task coordination, cost estimation and budgeting, and data evaluation.
Mr. Rechtin has a B.S. in Environmental Engineering Technology from the University of Dayton. He is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager and a Council-certified Indoor Environmental Consultant. Mr. Rechtin also holds numerous asbestos licenses in various states.
