Connor Fine Painting and Indianapolis Airport Authority Announced as New Mentor-Protégé Pairing

Dedicated to providing opportunities for Hispanic businesses to grow in Indianapolis, every year the Indy Chamber’s Hispanic Business Council selects two companies to participate in their Mentor-Protégé Program. Pairing Hispanic entrepreneurs with larger mentor firms, the Mentor-Protégé Program has been a catalyst for many Hispanic small business owners.

This year, the Hispanic Business Council has selected Connor Fine Painting to partner with the Indianapolis Airport Authority through the Mentor Protégé Program.

The Connor management team will be mentored directly by the Airport's executive leadership and management team. Designed to develop and grow two Hispanic-owned businesses each year for a two-year period, the Mentor-Protégé program aims to motivate and encourage mentors to assist protégés with business development, foster the establishment of long-term business relationships between protégé companies and majority corporations, and enhance the capability of the protégé participants to compete more successfully in the marketplace.

Both Connor Fine Painting and the Indianapolis International airport share a determination to continually improve their brand and service as experienced by their customers, employees, and vendors.

About the companies:

As Central Indiana’s premier painting contractor, Connor Fine Painting has a history of working with the best-of-the-best in the Greater Indianapolis area since 1979. They have worked with clients ranging from world-class educational institutions to winning sports franchises, from global leaders in insurance, pharmaceuticals and agribusiness to homeowners at some of the most prestigious and historic addresses in town.

The Indianapolis International Airport is a proven leader in the Indianapolis business community, receiving numerous prestigious awards recognizing it as a leader within its class, including best airport in North America in 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 in Airports Council International’s annual Airport Service Quality awards. It has also been inducted into the ACI Director General’s Roll of Excellence, one of the few U.S. airports to be included in this elite group of worldwide airports. IND has won additional recognition for excellent customer service, concessions programs, and art and architecture.
