1 Million Cups features Ivy Tech Entrepreneurs

Join us for the next 1 Million Cups event, highlighting two of Indy's new and growing businesses! This month, we are excited to featured two students of Ivy Tech (a long term 1MC partner). Join us to celebrate and encourage the entrepreneurs behind H&H Headwear and Serenity's Touch! Doors open at 8:00am for coffee and conversation, with the program beginning at 8:30am.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:
H&H Headwear - LaPorsche Jymi is the Founder of H&H Headwear, a company that manufactures satin lined hats, specializing in creating cause/brand awareness. She was successfully able to launch the business in June 2018 after obtaining her Entrepreneurship Certificate from Ivy Tech Community College. Once attained, she decided to pursue Technical Certification which is helping to scale her business. LaPorsche is also a single mom, mentor, active student, full-time employee, and a mentee in Pass the Torch for Women and Key4Women

Serenity's Touch - Serenity Britt is a former worker in the corporate world who decided to take a leap of faith and grow the business she had already started. Serenity has been self employed full time since July 2018, while also enrolled in school full time seeking her AB. Her business, Serenity’s Touch, provides a touch of elegance to special events. Serenity's Touch offers full service decor for weddings, baby showers, bar mitzvahs, retirement parties, etc.
