Ice Miller Welcomes Partner Jennifer Rhodes

Jennifer started her career at Ice Miller in 1999, where she worked primarily with private equity and venture capital firms in connection with their fund formation and investment transactions and private companies, across industries, in connection with their financing, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and general corporate needs.

In 2008, Jennifer was given the opportunity to lead an affiliated group of start-up medical device companies. Serving as executive director and general counsel, Jennifer established an organizational structure to facilitate economic efficiencies and optimal fundraising, technology development, liability protection and exit opportunities and coordinated all business development and clinical-regulatory activities. Following a successful exit from this group, Jennifer spent several years providing business and legal advice to research and development-stage biotech companies and other early-stage companies as they navigated complex product development, clinical-regulatory and commercialization activities.
