Hirons Hires New Account Director

Emily Kibling brings strong communications and leadership experience

INDIANAPOLIS – Hirons, an Indianapolis-based advertising, public relations and digital agency, has hired Emily Kibling, APR, as account director.

Kibling, a graduate of the University of Iowa, joins the agency’s Communications Management department. She is accredited in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and has served in numerous leadership roles for the organization’s Hoosier Chapter, including serving as the 2018 president-elect. In 2019, she will step into the role of president of the Hoosier Chapter where she will lead the more-than-350-member organization. With the chapter board, the president is responsible for ensuring the organization’s local initiatives align with its strategic plan and further the public relations profession throughout the state of Indiana.

She previously worked at the Indianapolis agency Borshoff as an account director where she developed and executed strategic integrated campaigns in a variety of industries.

Kibling will use her high-level communications expertise to provide strategic counsel to Hirons’ clients and support to the agency’s staff. She will be responsible for several client relationships and will primarily focus on the areas of account and communications planning, media relations, public outreach and community relations. In her role, Kibling will work in a proactive manner to provide clients’ marketing plans with the greatest amount of value added through communications.
