Car Free Day 2018

Car Free Day Indy celebration

Commuter Connect is hosting the third annual Car Free Day Indy celebration on Friday, Sept. 21. The day is designed to encourage carpools and other forms of sustainable transportation. If you take the online pledge at www.carfreedayindy.com/pledge to carpool, vanpool, bike, walk or take the bus that day, you’ll be entered to win great prizes, including $250 gift cards and two suite tickets to the Colts-Dolphins game.

If you work downtown, stop by Cummins Plaza, 301 E. Market St., from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and grab breakfast before heading in. You’ll join others who believe in the power of ridesharing and/or leaving the car at home, and you’ll get free coffee and breakfast while it lasts.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., you can head to Monument Circle for lunch and celebrate with others who believe in the benefits of ridesharing and/or leaving the car at home. Music and info tables, plus free Chick-fil-A while it lasts.
