Kurt has helped healthcare, non-profit, higher education, and other organizations make progress on their performance excellence journeys using process improvement, organizational development, training and coaching tools. His focus is on driving systems thinking and alignment within organizations along with helping individuals achieve their potential with new perspectives and energy levels.

Kurt is an Everything DiSC® certified trainer, a Core Values IndexTM – CVI – certified practitioner, Energy LeadershipTM Index Master Practitioner, and has been appointed to the national Baldrige Performance Excellence Program board of examiners 15 of the past 20 years, most recently as an alumni examiner.

Kurt holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Southern Methodist University, an MDiv from Christian Theological Seminary, and a doctorate in adult education from Indiana University.
