An increasingly common concern in cities across the US is that the overall urban revival is leaving growing numbers of residents behind. In addition, evidence suggests that more “equitable” cities are stronger economically. So how can real estate and land use leaders work together to create more inclusive urban prosperity? This is the subject of a recent ULI publication: Building Equitable Cities: How to Drive Economic Mobility and Regional Growth, co-authored by Henry Cisneros, chairman of CityView in San Antonio, Texas.
Join ULI Indiana on September 5 and hear from Cisneros, past Mayor of San Antonio and former Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, as he discusses the issue. At this special ULI Indiana program, Cisneros will describe the business and social case for real estate and land use leaders to help create a more inclusive urban prosperity, detailing what’s working and how to do more of it in areas of wide interest.
