Presentation Bootcamp coming June 28

Whether you enjoy making presentations or dread them, the ability to speak clearly and persuasively has become a vital leadership skill. The Indy CIO Directors Council is sponsoring a single, three-hour training class to be conducted by When You Leave The Room, LLC. This single session will give you the means to present effectively to peers, senior management, and clients—with special emphasis on presenting technical information to non-technical audiences. Training includes how to fashion compelling content; how to make the six proven principles of persuasion work for you; how to display data so your audience "thinks with their eyes"; and how to use professional platform skills to make your presentation smooth. A light breakfast is included; the class itself will run from 8-11 a.m.
